I still love the device, since I just needed a streaming device that had good capacity and with Twonky, I have that. The audio files played without problems but Plex couldn't handle even low bitrate video. All the video that Twonky played without problems Plex couldn't deliver. Once I got that status, I tested a few videos and none of them would play on any of my devices. I waited until the Plex status screen showed that all indexing had been completed before attempting to play anything. It took Plex 16 hours to get and apply the metadata and once that was complete, Plex was up and running again.

The easy part was the wipe and system reload which only took a few minutes. The tech representative was very helpful and after reviewing the Plex log file, it was apparent that the Plex database was corrupted and I would need to do a wipe and system reload. I did contact WD support and opened a case. Loaded: not-found (Reason: No such file or directory) I also ran "systemctl status ~]# systemctl status plexmediaserver I logged into the pro via SSH and couldn't find Plex when I listed the processes. Today I tried to reenable Plex as my streaming app on the pro. Nothing, none of my clients could find the Plex server. I restored the system and once again chose the PLEX server for streaming. Still I couldn't connect to the PLEX server. I ran diagnostics and everything was working according to the report. I wasn't able to connect to the PLEX server, so I rebooted the Wireless Pro, but that didn't resolve the problem. I started transferring over my audio media files and PLEX was fetching and applying metadata but at some point, it just stopped. Everything was working for a couple of days. Transferred the video of my media library over to the drive. Set it up to use PLEX as the streaming service. I purchased a WD My Passport Wireless Pro 3TB over a week ago and got it set up early last week.
